fortunately this only affects mercury based lamps which no one in their right mind wants to deal with when they blow anyway. laser, led and xenon/halide projectors are unaffected and have been on the market for ten years.

NoLifeKingMost projectors nowadays use LED or laser lights not mercury bulbs. Efficiency alone is a big thing but these mercury bulbs are absolutely horrible to deal with in general. Idk why they haven’t been illegal before.
And it is only a few hundred bucks to replace one!
Oh yes! And a few more to get rid of the broken one!
