based in upstate New York. these are lifetime knives. when you need to return the knife for servicing they either service or replace. invested in these knives 30 years ago, I was doubtful. now, I regularly give them as wedding presents. bc, these knives last a lifetime and the company stands behind their guarantee to repair or replace!
