Neither the NY Times or the Washington Post reported Trump's statement that he would encourage Russia to attack NATO on the front page.

Both managed to find room for missives on Biden's age & memory.

And they're completely flummoxed as to why journalism is dying...

@sfdb But they did report.

Trump Says He Gave NATO Allies Warning: Pay In or He’d Urge Russian Aggression

Speaking in Conway, S.C., Donald J. Trump said as president he had told NATO allies that he would urge Russian aggression against countries that had not met unofficial financial commitments.

The New York Times
@steven I'm not saying they didn't report it. It's not on the front page of the paper, that's my point. I thought I made that pretty clear.
@sfdb @steven Maybe it was not when you checked. It is 100% the top story now.
@notabird @steven Do you not understand the difference between the website landing page and a real print newspaper with a front page?
@sfdb @steven Who cares? Who reads newspapers..

@notabird @steven sheesh. I wish you would have said that at the beginning. I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to explain it to you.

Enjoy your day!

@sfdb @notabird I put those links in so everybody could read what both news orgs published. They are both all over it.

Print deadlines are earlier than they have ever been, so it's difficult to get a late story in.
@steven @sfdb Exactly. This is not the story to highlight the imbalance in coverage. There often is, but not this one.
