Turns out Dark Souls 3 works on an M1 mac through Whisky pretty well, though I had to turn on ESync and reduce detail to low (I’m not sure which of these settings was the one that fixed it), as on high detail and MSync it consitently froze when entering the open area down from the Tower on the Wall bonfire.
