Strangers: It’s nice that you can load CNN’s website. Please do not ask me why you can do that and why I can’t. I do not know why. Please do not tell me that CNN is bad and I should not be reading it; I know CNN is bad but that’s irrelevant. Please do not tell me to use a different browser or OS, because boy that’s obnoxious jackassery and it’s time somebody told you that.

@waldoj the tl;dr is that they need to track you to remember if you opted out of them tracking you, Safari prevents *all* of their tracking of you so they can’t be sure if they’re allowed to track you or not.
