I've left a comment on an #OFMDNSFW fanfic from my TBR list quoting the following line:
"Ed’s voice is a little sharp, and they both reflexively glance at the water, as if they’d be able to see the fish packing up their little fish suitcases and vacating the premises to leave a sternly worded noise complaint in the guest book."

Ed tries not to laugh. Stede says she’ll help keep the mouse population down. Ed wonders if she’ll have any motivation to hunt when Stede regularly puts out leftovers for her.
