Realizing how each generation, at some point, tends to find that times were so much better back then, you have to conclude that we've been caught in a downward spiral since the very beginning.

@georgetakei My parents do everything they can to suppress any memories of the 70s. Luckily for me, the 90s weren't all that bad.
