niphetteHad another go at the Maligne Canyon painting today. Pretty pleased with the cliffs now, the water tones too but the highlights could use some work. I feel like I want to make the whole thing moodier, more enclosed somehow. Attached: 1 image Further #watercolor adventures. I think I would like the cliffs to be darker, and also the rock in the waterfall. Tried masking fluid for the first time, which I enjoyed. Will probably have many more goes at this scene because I have a vision of it in my head I want to realise. Quite happy with the colour of the water, the foreground rock on the left, and the little trees. Tones are so hard. Also it’s not quite #waterfallwednesday yet but it counts right? #art
