Will we *ever* find an Earth 2.0? What does that even mean?

And of we do... what then?

We’re looking for another Earth—but how likely is it we’ll find a duplicate of home?

@badastro In SW development, it works the way that you start using 2.0 and stop supporting 1.0.

I read your article and I know we cannot do the first part, but we can for sure do the former part.

We can stop supporting version 1.0 without moving on to 2.0. In fact, we've been doing it for decades
