The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms recognizes the responsibilities, rights and duties of parents to provide direction to their children IN EXERCISING THEIR (the child's) RIGHTS, “in a manner consistent with the evolving capacities of the child” parents have the primary role in guiding and supporting their children’s development and autonomy, WHILE RESPECTING THEIR DIGNITY AND INDIVIDUALITY.
"Parents Rights" does not appear in the charter, anywhere.
