I don't agree with the merger, mostly because I fear losing access to products I like. But I thought that I should present a counter argument, even though I disagree with it, so that you would know what is being said.

Have you asked @FearDaToof to send The Notice to execs working on the merger? A risk of issues in cat food variety and salmon availability might prove quite risky for them. 😼

@Dark_Falcon @FearDaToof @SageTheSpark Noted the merger would make Kroger and Albertsons second to Walmart. In discussing competition, article states “Such competition is a positive development for consumers, and the government should encourage competition — not stifle it.” Mergers stifle competition IMHO. Don’t get their reasoning there. They are always wanting fewer regulations. One thing I’ve learned is they are needed to protect us from those focused only on profit not safety.

That's good news. Just make sure to advise @FearDaToof so that he gets the words to any cats that may own staffers involved with this lawsuit. Said cats need to grant said staffers an indefinite deferral of their demise to allow them to complete their work. Said staffers would still need to provide extra meals to their cats, of course.
In other news my heart function has substantially improved, I found out today.
@SageTheSpark @Dark_Falcon That’s good. I was looking for some Grover @FearDaToof as my family went through some trauma yesterday. They had gone to celebrate the Chiefs Super Bowl win but ended up running for cover in a mass shooting. They are safe just traumatized.

@FearDaToof @SageTheSpark @Dark_Falcon No, my daughter’s fiancée was angry that their fun celebration was spoiled. He did the right thing protecting them. Thankfully they were far enough away from the shooter to avoid getting shot. They have been trying to recover from the ordeal.
As has everyone at the event.
But on a brighter note Grover and Watson are glorious. Love them both.
