Mark Bennett 🏳️🌈👨🏻💻🏃♂@chartier I can see the value in this. I’ve been using ChatGPT to help plan a trip to the USA. It can be wrong like you say, and facts need to be checked but the general brush strokes are on the mark.
I would think Google Maps would be in a position to much more accurately source information, and the conversational planning has worked really well compared to random googling and browsing reviews on Google Maps.
@markbennett Oh sure, that's an interesting use case. This was really just a joke about the early days of AI and its high rate of accuracy. And yeah, Google is probably in a great positioin there.

Jonathan HendryOn the other hand someone who’s using it while traveling is not likely in a position to double check what the AI tells them.
@chartier I’d definitely give this a try but agree your mileage may vary. I’d fact check before booking anything for sure!
