andwhyisit@marco_m_aus_f @Lana To be fair you can still buy dvd/bluray boxsets of GoT to this day, so any piracy in this case was unjustified. I saw GoT boxsets in store only just last Saturday. That said there are plenty of streaming-exclusive shows and movies that can't be watched by any other means (like Nimona for instance), but GoT isn't one of them.

Leonick@alper @Lana In Sweden you are sometimes (maybe even often) limited to subtitles in one of the Nordic languages. Fortunately it’s not the majority.
Want English subtitle for your English audio? No, why would you want that?
Sometimes they even do it with blu-rays, and since the bonus materials typically don’t come with as many subtitles they are just left out.

endrift 🏳️⚧️@foone @Lana The game in question was Yoot Tower and the CD check just made sure that the drive you installed it from currently has a volume label matching the original CD. However, due to the whole "I don't have a CD drive" thing, that check wasn't passing. I changed the jump condition on the return value from strcmp to be unconditional. Done.
