I gave #linkedin an honest try, for a year or more, in terms of finding #work. It's a cesspool of #toxicpositivity and fake job postings.

Now I'm asking, with all urgency -- to anyone who has anything #tech to offer, please consider a guy who has:

- 30 yrs of exp
- out of work 20 mo
- 3 kids, one approaching her 1st birthday
- a track record for secure systems
- a month before eviction
- low salary reqs

Hi Ralf,

As another dude mentioned, use hashtags. No algorithm here, so without those no one will see you. You definitely want jobs, GetFediHired plus your skills.

I was searching at the worst possible time, right after all the tech layoffs and took me almost seven months to find a position that was a good match, I was filling out 1-5 applications a day, every day. Most never replied.

@aeu Yeah. I've done over 1800. Being limited to remote, due to my rural location in the Philippines, has also made it harder.
