Garry Keenortoday's #deEnshittification step is disabling my youtube app and watching videos in the browser instead, with 4 different ad blocker addins. No more adverts!

Rémi Cardona@25kV uBlock Origin with pretty much stock settings will get rid of 99% of YT premium popups, works great in both desktop Firefox and Android Firefox. The community is super quick to update the "quick fix" list with new YT URLs.
Oh yeah, Firefox too. Because using a chrome-based browser is just insane.
I genuinely don't know how people cope with the internet without some form of ad blocker.
Arfman@25kV There's apps like Grayjay that agregates youtube and other platforms. There's also more advanced apps like Revanced Manager that lets you download an altered version (though use at your own risk!).
