More #skateboarding news from #NorthOtago Despite Hampden being a sleepy hollow by the beach - average age in the 70's there is a tiny primary school. So hopefully some of them will understand what a gift they have been given. The official opening is next Sat 11am (Feb 10) with Kapa haka and bbq plus guest skaters. Bring your board and join in or just come and watch.

@skateboarding Regular population less than 100. Maybe 10 teenagers. For a few weeks in the summer it gets close to 1000 and there are another 100 who visit in the weekend so its a great facility but over spec for the 10 teens who actually live there :) Of course anyone can skateboard but more drama for this 60+ year old.
