A #RetroComputing conundrum.

Which is faster at running my solution to day 4, part 2 #AdventOfCode 2023 in Turbo #Pascal 3.01A?

Real Z80 based hardware represented by my #RC2014, or my #RC2040 based on a Pi Pico emulating an RC2014?

There's only one way to find out ... #Fight !

Re: Caterham

I have a 1978 super 7 clone . tube frame, 540 kg, 1230 lb. fibreglass and aluminum body. Triumph Spitfire front suspension, steering, brakes, 1967 Lotus Cortina leaf spring rear suspension, axle, brakes, gas tank. 1980 Fiat 124 spider 2.0 lt. Lampredi engine and 5 spd. trans., was fuel injected, converted to carburation, earlier intake manifold for increased flow, Weber 40 DFI 5 from a 365 Ferrari v12., custom side exhaust with 4-2-1 setup. ..very fun car....

@931 They are! Mine's safely stowed in the garage until the spring, as the last time I took it out in the winter I hit a patch of ice and damaged the gearbox - expensive mistake :( This is the car in the Brecon Beacons last autumn - great driving to be had around there!

@psychotimmy

My 1978 super 7 clone .

tube frame, 540 kg, 1230 lb. fibreglass and aluminum body.
1980 Fiat 124 spider 2.0 lt. Lampredi engine and 5 spd. trans...it has a 4:33 diff...very short gearing and the engine is configured for low end torque...so launches through intersections quickly...has a great sound...50% of the experience....one muffler,, nothing else....side exit exhaust...
