I agree: Biden is being, as he too often is, a wimp. Biden has the authority and power to protect US borders and he has the authority and power to use both the US military and to call the organized militia - often called the National Guard - into Federal service (and under the command of Biden.)

Why hasn't Biden ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to remove Abbot's razor wire and killer floats? Because Biden is a namby-pamby who learned his art as a smiling Senator making agreeable noises, not as an executive-in-charge.

Sure, I will vote for Biden if he is on the ballot, but I sure wish I had a better choice. I am so angry at the D-party for putting us into this lurch.

@karlauerbach I feel confident that Biden has taken the appropriate course of action. I would wager that instruction have been given to CBP, ICE, USCG in the region to prep 4 a Federal push against the TNG in the event they need to. It sucks, but it is likely that blood will need to be shed first by the TNG refusing federal authority and escalating matters. When that happens, there will be nothing to question Biden's authority to call in other NG's to releive TNG of their assigned role by Abbot
