Okay cool - what kind of society, exactly was the Jim Crow South? What EXACTLY separates that from Nazi Germany prior to 1942? Where did Hitler get the IDEA for separate laws and concentration camps for targeted groups?
Fascism is as American as apple pie, and slavery and white supremacy are just one example. Genocides don't happen here? Tell that to Native Americans.
It took a while, but a recent media report on outright immigrant mass deportation plans of the rising far right finally sparked massive protests across Germany, extending down into villages by now. It's uncertain if we are still able to stop the fascists, but it's huge and extends far into the middle class, so there is hope, after all, simply because none of that did happen back in the past when the fascists first grabbed power.
