DeviIt is a shame. Obviously we're very early on in her story so maybe after one season there's nowhere else to go with her, but it is sad.
“After one season” — we already saw set photos of her into season 15 (or 2 , into 2025 anyway), so it seems its more organic than that. Which I personally like apart from the fact that it means the Ruby question will probably be resolved at the same time.

- Rose + 10: 1 season
- Martha: 1 season
- Donna: 1 season
Even Moffat had Bill as a single-season companion, Chibnall had Dan, who was basically only in “Flux”.
I haven’t even watched more than one damn episode, and I’m already being told she’s going to leave? Who decided announcing this was a brilliant idea?
