Gibbs has kennel cough. He doesn't understand this yet, but he's going to be really disappointed when there are no doggy playdates this week.

He is improving: He only got me up four times last night. "I'm going to cough in your face so you know that I still feel crappy."

@SoNotNic Oh wow! Another #GreatPyrenees #komondor mix! We initially fostered Kody a couple of months ago, but quickly realized that he was staying where he was & completed the adoption. Gibbs looks gorgeous as well! I hope he gets better soon! #pyrendor

@SoNotNic We have had Pyrs & still have one, Lulu. They have mostly been laidback dogs. I’m not too familiar with Komondor traits, but Kody is a bundle of energy. Some can be attributed to puppyhood as he’s a year and a half, but I’m not sure it will diminish that much.

Gibbs is 3 years old and still has bouts of chaotic energy although he's spending more and more time holding down the carpets. I hurt my back in early December, and he was the best couch buddy during the worst of it.

He is a rescue dog, and I worried the first year that he would not adapt to life off the farm. He wanted a job to do, and it was hard to find things to keep him mentally occupied.

He's definitely got a stubborn streak.
