if i'm being honest i've highly considered running for local office and working my way up to continue de-stigmatizing leftist politics and create actual political action behind my stances, but i know i'd never reach full socialist potential until the people decided to create real revolution and i worry that involvement in electoral politics would diminish solidarity with grassroots leftist movements. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i'm irrationally anxious about these things
