Adam Scovell is a writer & filmmaker from Merseyside now based in London. He completed his PhD in Music at Goldsmiths in 2018 during which he worked on several film adaptations with Robert Macfarlane. For his journalism, he has written for the British Film Institute, the BBC, The Times and more, and is author of 4 books: Folk Horror: Hours Dreadful and Things Strange (2017), Mothlight (2019), How Pale the Winter Has Made Us (2020), and Nettles (2022).
