Hey, congratulations on that new #rstats package! Or, maybe well done on keeping that old package maintained! Either way, have you thought about letting your users try it out in the browser straight away? It's really easy with WebR and #QuartoPub!

James Goldie - Your new R package? Write a WebR blog post for it

@jimjamslam
This is pretty exciting!

Can we add this to pkgdown articles too?

@rmhogervorst @coatless has done a great job with quarto-webr!

It does require #quartopub, though, so if you want to use it on a pkgdown site, I think you’ll either need to add WebR manually or edit for someone to integrate the two in a similar way! You could always link from pkgdown to an external Quarto blog post, though!

@jimjamslam @rmhogervorst We're looking into having the extension work with `{altdoc}` package websites. On the surface, this seems more likely since they support generating Quarto websites out of the box. That said, I'd love to have it work with `{pkgdown}` as a majority of packages are currently using it for their package documentation.
@jimjamslam Really curious to give this a try! Thanks for making the topic so clear and approachable.
@elipousson Glad I could help! 😊
