@davemosk you should use Firefox, but I don't think that's what it means.
The problem was the ambiguity where chrome itself wouldn't track you but every service you use (including Google services!) continues to behave as normal. Private windows in Firefox are probably _exactly_ the same, which I think is the right design decision as it means your browser doesn't leak explicitly to the site that you are using a private window!
