A wild #MongooseTraveller story from tonight, as told through the text I just sent my gf:

They had no idea if they were gonna kill this rich duke or not going into today. W's character drags the duke underwater, immediately dying to these dangerous croc creatures and leaving the duke cornered. D's character tries to shoot duke but misses. J's character turns on D's character. Y's character obscures the whole thing to let the duke die underwater.

(Cont.) They all try and persuade the NPCs to leave, which they just about do. Remaining three player characters split, two learn to survive in the wilderness and the other sells out to the noble's family. Epilogue leaves them as two rival groups coming back together to save a backstory character. The end.

Imagine trying to referee that debacle as a newbie to #MongooseTraveller ! Was very fun but I very rarely have to adjudicate between two opposing players! I'm exhausted in a happy way 😂😅 🫠
