@petrillic those old corpo papers are so crap they're becoming irrelevant. we need better journalism and if fucking teen vogue is doing it, so be it
@petrillic It's unreal how much better at journalism they are than pretty much all other MSM orgs. Been several years going now.
@petrillic I'm glad they're doing this work, but enjoy it while it lasts since we usually can't have nice things especially in the world of media.
@petrillic
It is both awesome and damning (to the rest of journalism) that teen vogue keeps running these stories. I love it.
@petrillic I'm stunned at the scope of the Klan. I literally had no idea about the history. I can't believe that it's such a mirror of the current zeitgeist - we should be going to the stars not fighting about land and first century mysticism. Are we stuck in a loop?. Crazy times.
Thanks for the article recommendation

@petrillic

This is excellent. The Klan's push for a ban on religious clothing in the classroom matches the French ban under laïcité.

@petrillic Together with The Onion, they have divvied up the US market for actual journalism
@petrillic Teen Vogue is great. I'm glad someone is publishing this kind of reporting. Great piece, @Zeb_Larson!
@petrillic It's a sad commentary on the state of our so-called "news" media that Teen Vogue offers better journalism than most of the major newspapers and TV networks do.
