People in the united states are still getting into trouble for calling Israel’s war in Gaza a genocide.

Not sure what else you can call bombing for months, cutting off power, water and food supplies and now killing 1% of the population … with Israeli political leaders making genocidal statements. Maybe the grim numbers will start pushing through the political bullshit and fascist fascination?

I’ve not read all of South Africa’s filing to the International Criminal Court yet, but I do not see how anyone could read the statements of Israeli officials (starting around page 60) given as evidence of intent (a key part of arguing that a crime is genocide) as anything but reprehensible. If you’re in the US like me you’ve probably not read many of these statements.
