AI "art" is art theft.

Full stop.

Is anyone else just really damn tired of seeing AI "art" in general?
@Bwee Yus. I wish the whole thing would go away. :P
@the_gneech @Bwee well luckly for you if they keep training it as they are now it will. they do unvetted scrape training. ai training on ai will collapse. you could probally see where im going

@Bwee That, and I am getting so dang tired of people responding "but, is it actually theft, when artists also learn the same way th..."

Like, NO. It is theft, and only people that want to steal ask those questions :/

@Bwee Tired of all forms of the billionaire theft machine really

@Bwee So much yes.

Every time somebody shares a neat-looking bit of artwork in a public channel now I feel like I have to go over it with a magnifying glass before I can legitimately go 'yay that's beautiful!'

I don't want to be in a timeline where I have to hesitate and be mistrustful before I can find something beautiful. What the heck. Why have we done this.

@Bwee It's gotten to the point I refuse to aasociate with anyone who uses it or defends its use.
@Bwee It’s the visual equivalent of ‘Autotune’ or ‘Melodyne’ tuning plugins/apps. It’s now difficult to tell if a vocal had really good intonation or it was put in tune artificially.
@Bwee I’m so over everything suddenly needing to have AI bolted onto it.

@Bwee

AI art is free to rip off. It can't be copyrighted, so it should be pirated as much as possible.
