Do people actually leave the tea bag in there? That just makes it extra bitter.
Only if you have quality tea bags. It’s basically impossible to over-steep cheap tea bags with their miniscule amounts of very finely ground tea.
Only black or green tea, herbal tea (sorry, infusion) not so much.
