finally some quickposes again, last time more than a month ago i think
10 poses 60 s each, from quickposes timed practice
aaa on the first one i forgor how important it is to first get the general shape right, this is illustrative af xd
(yes they are both from the same model same picture, just on the left i started from eyes mouth nose and on the right i focused on the outline first)
@salt inspired me to dabble in aquarell stuff again, so heres a lil lion in very watery gouache, lets see if i will be able to keep it up and learn to handle this stuff
i tried blurring/lightening the background but didnt really manage, and maybe i should find a way to not get this halo around foreground stuff (see top of the mane for example), but tbh i am pretty happy how this turned out, i really dont have much experience with aquarell techniques
cursed? maybe
cute? hopefully
i wonder where this will go in the end ^^
wow i suck at painting xddd
gonna try again tomow
finallyyyy ^~^
im happy with this snog (snail frog)
kinda sad that i didnt manage to draw the 5th one as chubby as the ref :/ i tried but in the end i failed quite some, and like, this is an important thing to learn i think
also slightly unhappy with body builder guy, he has a tad more muscle on the arms, also hes one of the black models and i didnt bring that across at all, maybe i should have just spent the time shading
so i guess more physique and skin tone practice
