Slightly worried about the number of my fellow leftists who seem to think that labor only exists under capitalism.
I saw someone saying that free time is a capitalist concept, because it's time that exists in relation to capitalist labor, and listen: free time is time in which you can do what you want, and there is no system under which you will not have to do things you don't want to do.

@BathysphereHat I think i'm always trying to shift the conversation to relieving existencial dread. Everyone wants a reason to exist, and for what they do to have meaning, and feel like it matters, otherwise we get people stuck in cycles of depression, and inability to do or try anything that might give them joy, or that may contribute to a greater positive environment.

I find this transcends both the conversations on on the right concerning the "welfare state" as well as hot, teenage level takes of labor on the left.
