I really fucking hate when people “yeah but” the fact that I cannot control or even notice my own voice level, tone or intonation… IM AUTISTIC, there is no yeah but, I can’t! End of!

@Mizokaya as someone who's quite sensitive to voice levels, when it via discord or such, i have a compressor and auto leveler set up on incoming voices. fully understand that many people don't have control over their voice level, and that way neither side feels discomfort :)
@dani I really wish this existed in real life. I don’t like triggering people, but it’s not in my control (especially when people also react badly to my forcing myself into a state of calm slow voice that they perceive as treating them like a child 🙄)
@Mizokaya yeh reallife is harder, i often flinch from voices and hate how it makes people feel bad
@dani hopefully there will be solutions in the future (non intrusive hearing aids that block sharp pitch changes might already be a thing, but otherwise sound awesome) it’s difficult to battle the brain though.
