Privacy poetry from the 1970s is a mood.

@snowjake @oldmankris From the early sixties through the late seventies, the “I feel like just a number, a spoke in a great big wheel” attitude was powerful. Then people gradually stopped caring. The current discussion about corporate surveillance probably has interesting and illuminating parallels to earlier ages. There’s not yet a cultural movement to collect and amplify people who care, I think. Not like then.
