But yeah, they should have provided better security for their customers.

Yeah, 23andMe should have kept their data safe and secure, so when they sold it to their fascist tyrant friends, then we would have no problem with it at all. But this is evil hackers accessing the data, without even paying 23andMe for it! Won't somebody think of the poor data miners who wanted your genetic code so they could exploit it, but had the money to pay for it? They're the real victims here!
