BethOnce past Kernsary the track passes through woods and out onto a boggy path across the moors.
I wanted to get far enough along to get a view of the Fisherfield hills before I had to turn back. I sheltered at the edge of the woods for a squally shower to pass and had lunch.
Carrying on I met a couple and dogs who'd spent NYE at the bothy, in the company of 2 climbers.. Fantastic!
The views, as far as they were still, were definitely worth the effort.
