I wanted to get in on the "2023 in review trend", but wanted something less visible than a blog post.

Illness:

* My mother discovered a tumor, revealed to be treatable.
* I got Diabetes, likely type 1. Fired my first endocrinologist and found a better one.
* Figured out I have biological damage to my hearing.
* Most of my immediate and extended family got Covid.
