@alisonkiddle this will sound weird, but: you know how the dog in the movie "Up" sees things and says "SQUIRREL!"

I see that image, see the vertices where three edges meet, and my brain says "ICOSAHEDRON!"

Then my brain sees the teardrop-shaped pentagons, which are not regular, and is sad because it's not a Platonic solid.

But then it tries to figure out how you get that shape from an icosahedron or dodecahedron.

@ddrake that makes perfect sense! I spent a long time trying to figure out how this shape relates to my favourite platonic and Archimedean solids.

What about the lines inside the main pentagons? Is there any regularity or reason there?
