I am looking for good local friends. I will update this message with criteria about my desired social situation, as it develops in my mind.

I want to have a few very good intimate friends with whom I get along extremely well who are part of a large collection of acquaintances with whom there I get along well enough such that we are able to work together.

I would imagine my most important work would be done most effectively with my closest friends.
