Vivek Ramaswamy Says He Won’t Be on Maine Ballot if Donald Trump Is Banned
Naw. not really. he’d enjoy that too much.
Unless I were to be paid enough… (and to be perfectly blunt, I don’t think he has enough money to pay “enough”)
he’s hoping Trump will look at all his loyalty and overlook the fact that his skin is the wrong shade, and ask him to be his VP.
the thing is, Trump is a racist and will never over look that, the other thing is, Vivek is primarying against trump, and he’s going to not over look that too.
I wonder if we should tell him, that Trump selects VP’s by who gives the best BJ.
(pence… was surprising.)

Trump did put Ajit Pai in charge of the FCC.
Trump probably just signed some stuff that was stuck in front of him. and by signed, I mean, pulled out his stamp collection and stamped it.
he probably has absolutely no idea who Ajit Pai is, or what the FCC is or, you know. anything else like that.
Ramaswamy challenged Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis and Chris Christie to follow his lead and takem themselves off the Maine ballot.
This is what an actual threat to democracy looks like. The system is hellbent on taking this man out, the Constitution be damned. Ramaswamy made a similar dive for the spotlight after Colorado’s Supreme Court ruled Trump’s actions leading up to his supporters’ bloody rampage through the Capitol on January 6 had rendered him ineligible for the presidency under the 14th Amendment. Ramaswamy’s electoral self-immolation is currently on hold, since the vanquished president got back on the Rocky Mountain state’s ballot pending a final determination by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the Michigan Supreme Court rejected a bid to remove Trump from the swing state’s ballot.

Vivek Ramaswamy’s presidential campaign has stopped spending money on television ads and does not have any TV ad reservations booked, according to his campaign and data from an ad-tracking firm.
I suspect that while most conservatives would prefer someone more ‘close to home’, there’s two things that may appeal:
Ultimately, few will opt for him over Trump, and their allegiance to him would likely be far more fickle, as they cannot identify with him as much.
