#day27 A 2023 drama few people watched

I'd like to recommend #NotOthers (#남남 )

The focus is about mother-and-daughter relationship, stronger than the conflicts both leads may face.
There's a bit of romance and crime/mystery solving too.
Both lead actresses are great at impersonating a strong woman character.

@s1m0n4 I just finished watching this. I was surprised that there were only 12 episodes and there didn't really seem to be an ending to the show. Still, the actors, especially the females, were good and their stories were generally interesting.
@EllenInEdmonton I wasn't thrilled by the end either. Leaving the nest is part of becoming an adult and it doesn't look like it is the case in that #kdrama
Despite that I think it's a good drama. The acting, the characters, the plot, the older couple romance, the comedy...

I was just annoyed that they chose such a random conclusion. There was absolutely zero leadup to that and neither of them seemed to have done any prep work at all beyond buying a few books/doing some workouts. A lot of plot lines just went driving off into the ether with that ending, which isn't very satisfying.

@EllenInEdmonton they could've done it better, that's for sure.
I've seen other dramas with inconclusive endings. I think it may be a trope.
