Possibly linuxJust have them install ublock origin when they’re away from home. It is going to be way more efficient.

PIA has an adblocker for their VPN service in the mobile app.
Set the private DNS in android settings to dns.adguard.com
I don’t know how Wireguard blocks your ads, but ok
