Amiga Users: "An Amiga is very easy to expand! It's all Autoconfig! No jumpers!"

Meanwhile, installing Amiga expansions be like:

@chainq i am not sure what is more disturbing, the hair dryer or the WD40
@masta Normal people be like "Hair dryer? WD40? WTF?" Amiga people be like: "Shit, you know how hard it is to write a Kickstart disk?!" 🙃
@chainq don't forget the expansions where you need to put a socket under a chip or solder some wires to them 😋

@dec_hl I think an Amiga is still okay in this regard, there are some extreme expansions that need it, but I'd say an Atari ST is a lot worse in this regard. (Angry Atari fans incoming in 3... 2.. 1... 😅) At least on the A500, that needs this kind of "creative" expansion, the chips are usually already socketed.

@chainq well, the Amiga was never meant for those extreme extensions we have now 😄
@mmu_man Now? Fun fact - this is from the manual of an Amiga 1000 expansion from 1989. 😁 Granted, it's a special and quite invasive expansion, that replaces half the mobo, but yeah, it's still a fun read.
@chainq I have a long nose, but I rarely use pliers on it. I'm confused.
