@jeffowski that is also what makes intersectionality so hard for people. Just because a group is privileged in one regard, does not mean they are privileged in every regard. As the post said people take for granted what doesn't hinder them and so if you want people to get that, you also have to engage with their problems to see if there is a way to solve both, because people will support causes a lot easier when they feel seen.

That's some weird prescriptivism, asserting that a common word actually means its inverse. If it were true, we could eliminate privilege by distributing obstacles and barriers to the privileged.
