@ianonymous3000 @internet_nl @protonmail @skiff Thanks for sharing. IPv6 support is already planned.
@Tutanota @ianonymous3000 @internet_nl @protonmail @skiff What is so secure about IPv6 vs. IPv4?

@internet_nl @ianonymous3000 Then why did you call it email security standards test?
@jdoe @ianonymous3000 Where have you seen us use those words? Thanks.
@ianonymous3000 @internet_nl @protonmail @skiff @Tutanota, Proton Mail is flawless in the test. Only it cannot be reached via IPv6 and therefore gets the lowest test score?! 🤦‍♂
@robianhood @ianonymous3000 @internet_nl @protonmail @skiff @Tutanota Tuta and Skiff have IPv6 addresses for the DNS servers, so they score a few points higher.

@ianonymous3000 Hi! While IPv6 is an improvement, it has nothing to do with security. IPv6 primarily gives a better reach where IPv4 access is provided via IPv4-over-IPv6 connections (where users' ISP only give IPv6 addresses) or the IPv4 address is going through multiple layers of IPv4 NAT. In those cases, direct IPv6 access can improve connection performance, but it doesn't affect security in any way.
@protonmail @ianonymous3000 agreed. These comparisons are extremely misleading. Having said that, IPv6 support inProtonwoud be great to see.
@derekmorr @ianonymous3000 We'll indeed have this in mind for future development as IPv6 prevalence continues to become more widespread.
