It occured to me today that I really need a Linux desktop app that carries all my messages from whatsapp, telegram, signal, discord and probably cell messaging. Having 5-6 different apps running constantly (snap, flatpak, etc) just seems like such a waste. Obviously the situation is worse for the phone but I rarely use it for interacting with these services.
