 Ivory v1.8 is now available to download on the App Store! It features the brand new Explore Tab (which replaces the Search Tab) with much improved search and a new Popular & Trending section. There's also a few new app Icons and some bug fixes.

@ivory How can I go back to the infinite trending post timeline? This new one ends after a few posts.

@peterp you mean the federated timeline? There’s a link at the top of the explore view.

@ivory @peterp No, the “Trending” list. I have the same issue.

On the “Search” screen in pre-1.8, the most common way I’d browse was by reading trending posts by clicking it on the search screen. I’d browse it until I ran out of English posts and start getting German. Now I only get 25 posts on the trending tab before I hit the bottom. I’ve lost the most common way I browse in the new update. BUT, I love that it’s integrated and doesn’t lose my position if I accendentally go back a view level.

@chrisbrummel @ivory @peterp I’m seeing similar behavior using @IceCubesApp Perhaps this is a @mastodon server issue?

@bobginpgh @chrisbrummel @ivory @IceCubesApp It is not a Mastodon issue, cause I get a normal infinite Trending posts time line on a tablet running older version of the app.
