@theoregonian I would like #TheOregonian to stop advertising that we can sign up "for free" to streaming services. You know what's *actually* free? Pirate streaming, adblocked streaming, and torrents.

I understand why The Oregonian does this; just like paid streaming services, The Oregonian enjoys signing people up for free trials, underdelivering, and making it hard to cancel subscriptions. This is known as a #DarkPattern and is both pathetic and contemptible.
