1. The largest surge in renewable energy capacity to date in 2023.

2. Over 200 countries committed to transitioning off of fossil fuels at the COP28 climate summit.

3. Deforestation in Brazil fell by over 20%.

4. The ozone layer continues to heal.

5. Sales of electric vehicles is surging and reached an all time high in the US.
