The first thing Russia does after occupying our territories is destroy all the children’s books in Ukrainian, including Ukraine’s history books.

This all happened centuries ago when Russia tried to forbid the Ukrainian language, so it can later be said that it never existed.

@hanse_mina it has a lot to do with the post, the removal of the other part's culture is pretty similar. Russians are removing Ukrainian books, Ukraine had started to do this already since 2016 within its own territory. Despite the fact that many Ukrainian citizens spoke and read Russian. In the EU we cannot even dare thinking to do this to our minorities.

Russia is trying to wipe the whole Ukrainian culture and history, An import ban of books from a nation that invaded is most certainly nothing like what Russia is doing in the post above.
